SCOTT SEDITA
Scott
Sedita, winner of BackStage West’s 2008 Acting Teacher
of the Year, is one of the most well respected and busiest acting
coaches in Hollywood.
He has starred as the Acting Coach on VH1’s “New
York Goes To Hollywood,” the E! series “Fight
For Fame”, USA Network’s “Character
Fantasy,” Fox Sports Network’s “Helmets
Off, ” and MTV’s "Adventures
in Hollyhood" starring Three 6 Mafia. He is also
the author of two bestselling books, “The Eight
Characters of Comedy, A Guide to Sitcom Acting and Writing,”
and “Scott Sedita's Guide To Making It In Hollywood:
3 Steps to Success, 3 Steps to Failure.”
A graduate of Boston University’s Film and Television
program, Scott has more than 25 years of experience in the entertainment
industry. He began his career in New York as a talent agent,
where he helped to launch the careers of many of today’s
top stars, including Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc,
Christopher Meloni, Dylan Walsh, Jerry
O'Connell, Vincent D’Onofrio and Teri
Polo, just to name a few.
In 1990, Scott relocated to Los Angeles where he worked as a sitcom
writer for Howie Mandel, Bobcat Goldthwait and others.
In the mid-90s, Scott worked as a casting director for Danny Goldman
Casting until launching his Scott Sedita Acting Studios in 1998.
Today, Scott and his staff teach the craft of acting to the
hundreds of actors who walk through his doors on a weekly basis.
Scott has coached and taught many hot new stars such as Josh
Duhamel (Las Vegas), Jennifer Finnigan (Close To
Home), Chace Crawford (Gossip Girl), Brandon Routh (Superman
Returns) and many others who have appeared in film, soaps, prime
time dramas and sitcoms.
Scott's bestselling comedy book, “The Eight
Characters of Comedy,” not only has become the
‘must read’ book for actors, it’s also becoming
a valuable resource for comedy writers and producers, as well
as a textbook taught in colleges and universities. Scott has
been hired as a Comedy Consultant on sitcoms in the United States
and Canada. Scott's new book, “Making It In Hollywood,”
is also becoming an essential guide to motivating actors to
achieve success.
Scott can also be heard on radio stations around the world
as the “Hollywood Expert.” He’s been
featured in such publications as; Soap Opera Digest,
Inside TV, BackstageWest and TV Soap to
name a few. He has also appeared on numerous TV Magazine and
reality shows such as “Extra,” “Starting
Over” and “Faking It.” KTLA
Channel 5 did a story on Scott entitled “Where Young
Hollywood Goes and Studies” and referred to him as “one
of the hottest coaches in town.”

Deborah quayle
Deborah
has been a respected acting coach for the last 6 years. In addition
to her private coaching she also taught drama and audition technique
at Chad McCord's Acting Studio. She began her professional training
in NYC where she completed the 2-year Meisner program with William
Esper. She continued her training by studying script analysis
with Tim Phillips and a range of acting techniques with other
noted professionals. She has been a series regular on ABC's
daytime drama "Loving" and UPN's "Dangerous Women". She has
worked in theatre in NYC and Los Angeles, can be seen often
in film and television, and on numerous national commercials.
Recent acting credits include the ABC pilot "Football Wives"
directed by Bryan Singer, the film "Order Up" starring Illeana
Douglas and the award winning short "Janie".

TODD ROHrBACHER
Todd
is an alumnus of the acclaimed ACME Comedy Theatre in Los Angeles,
where he performed with the ACME Players in the Main Company.
He also directed ACME’s Sunday Company of up and coming
talent and has taught all levels of comedy improvisation for
more than 10 years. Todd has worked in many facets of the industry:
Theatrical and commercial casting, television writer, playwright,
director and continues to be a working actor. He has appeared
in several network pilots and dozens of commercials. Additionally,
Todd was a Network Dialogue Coach for NBC’s GOOD MORNING
MIAMI.
Todd is a proud graduate of Warner Bros.’ renowned Comedy Writers
Program and has produced and taught Comedy Workshops for Disney’s
Animation Studios. Todd continues to perform regularly as Founder
and Artistic Director of his improv group Captain Creamsicle’s
Laughateers: www.thelaughateers.com. Todd joined the teaching staff
at Scott Sedita Studios in 2002 and is now the head of the TV and
Film Comedy Department.

ELIZABETH BAUMAN
Elizabeth
holds a BFA in theatre from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, a Master’s in Educational Theatre from New York University
and a Master’s in Drama Therapy from the Drama Therapy Institute of
Los Angeles.
Elizabeth has performed on stages on both coasts, including Circle
In the Square, Provincetown Playhouse and South Coast Rep.
Elizabeth has taught at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in NY
and LA for the past 9 years, and has also taught at Class Act
Theatre for Youth and All About Kids Acting Conservatory. Elizabeth
also works as a Drama Therapist with underprivileged youth.
Elizabeth has been teaching The On-Camera Kids’ Class at Scott
Sedita Acting Studios for the past two years. She firmly believes in
nurturing the young actor, whether they seek to work professionally
or simply for fun.

patrick munoz
Patrick
teaches Nuts and Bolts, the foundational acting class at the
studio. He is a highly regarded voice and speech coach in Hollywood
and the resident speech teacher at the studio.
He is a graduate
of Dartmouth College and holds an MFA in Acting from Temple
University in Philadelphia. As an actor, he has appeared in
CBS' "The Agency" and regional theaters across the
country, including the Berkshires, Meadowbrook, Old Globe, and
many times at the Laguna Playhouse.
As a voiceover artist, Patrick has recorded for Blockbuster,
Sega, The Luxor Hotel, and the educational series "PK's
Place".
Patrick has been a dialect coach for CBS's top-rated series
"Without a Trace" and coached actors for big-budget
as well as independent movies, including "Van Helsing",
"Imagining Argentina", "Masked and Anonymous",
and "Head in the Clouds". He has coached for "LA
Dragnet" and was featured on the Discovery Channel's "Joy
of Lex". His clients include Penelope Cruz, Eva Longoria,
and Roselyn Sanchez.

Tony Rago
Tony
Rago has been studying and acting since the age of nine. With
over fifty theatrical productions under his belt, Tony moved
to Los Angeles from Chicago to focus on film and television.
He has directed three short films, one of which was an homage
to the great silent comedians and another which received critical
acclaim. Tony also is a member of ACME Comedy Theatre’s
Zebra improv company, as well as the Bravo sketch company.
Tony also travels around the country with a scripted and
improvised murder mystery, and recently went over seas to Bosnia
with the show to perform for the troops on a USO tour. He joined the
Scott Sedita Acting Studio as a student and has been seen in the
live game show The Comedy Competition. Recently, Tony joined the
staff of the studio and now we can’t stop laughing.

Josh Rappaport
Josh, a native of Los Angeles, began his acting career in 1985.
While studying with two of the great acting teachers, Jeff Corey
and Roy London, Josh started working as an actor in TV and film. But
he is best known for his appearances in numerous national TV
commercials.
While continuing to pursue an acting career, Josh began working
at Danny Goldman Casting as a Commercial Casting Director. Josh has
spent the last twenty years in the casting room. He has conducted
over 100,000 auditions.
Josh has been teaching commercial technique for the past six
years at Scott Sedita Acting Studios.
